Bringing New Life to an Outdated Condo Kitchen
At Olde Florida Contracting, we love helping homeowners transform outdated kitchens into spaces that feel fresh, modern, and functional. For this project, we had the privilege of working again with repeat customers who trusted us to remodel their Naples condo kitchen after a previous successful project.
The original kitchen featured soffits, bulky cabinetry, and a raised knee wall that limited both counter space and storage. Our client wanted a more open, efficient, and modern kitchen — one that felt at home in Southwest Florida.
The Remodel Process
Our team began with a complete kitchen demo, including:
- Removal of existing cabinets, counters, and soffits
- Lowering the knee wall to counter height
- Opening up the wall section in front of the refrigerator for better flow
- Electrical and plumbing adjustments to fit the new layout
This allowed us to start with a clean slate and build a space that maximized function while introducing a bright new design style.
Custom Cabinetry & Countertops
One of the highlights of this Naples remodel is the Starkmark Bridgeport maple cabinetry in the Breeze finish. The soft blue-gray color brings a coastal feel that’s perfect for Florida living. Paired with quartz countertops and a stainless 50/50 sink, the result is a balance of durability, function, and style.
We finished the look with modern stainless steel appliances, which not only updated the kitchen’s appearance but also improved functionality for everyday cooking.
The Final Result
The transformation is dramatic: from a dated, closed-off kitchen to a bright, open, and modern space. The new layout improves workflow, adds storage, and creates a kitchen that feels both inviting and practical.
